Q: Is my eStatement account
information secure?
A: SELCO Union has implemented
a security system that safeguards your money and keeps
your account
information completely private. These security techniques
include user authentication, data encryption, and the
use of secure servers, which are designed to keep out
potential intruders. SELCO Community Credit Union's eStatement
website uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol to encrypt
sensitive data prior to transmission over the Internet
so it is protected from anyone attempting to read it
in transit. The SSL protocol consists of the highest
level of data encryption available today (128-bit). Online
log monitoring and analysis are conducted to detect break-in
attempts and other problems. There is strong encryption
between the client and Web server, as well as between
the Web server and back-end systems.
Also,
no member information is stored on the Web server that
is accessed by the public. Member information is safeguarded
behind layers of security, which include automatic log
out, encryption, firewalls, and PIN lockout.

Q: How soon after signing up will I be able to view my statement?
A: If you have a new account, you will not have an eStatement until your first statement is generated. If you are an existing member, you will be able to see your past statements immediately upon signing up.

to top
Q: How long will my eStatements remain online?
A: SELCO's eStatement program provides eStatements for 12 months of the year, including the current month. You will only be able to view 12 months worth of statements at any one time. In other words, when the most recent statement is added, the oldest statement will be removed so that you continually have a rolling 12 months of statements. If your account has not been open longer than 12 months your statements will only go back to when you opened your account, and build up to 12 months worth from there.
