Your Big Break Winners Announced!

on June 19, 2008 as SELCO Community Credit Union hosted a screening and awards celebration to cap off the credit union’s “Your Big Break” commercial contest.

The three grand prizes were selected through online voting at the selco.org website. SELCO members and the community at large were invited to participate in voting. More than 2,500 votes were received by the end of the voting period on June 6, 2008.

2008 ShredFest Recap

SELCO held two ShredFests in late April/early May at the Gateway and East Bend SELCO branches. In total, more than 600 vehicles dropped off more than 35,000 of outdated financial documents for secure shredding and recycling—saving more than 300 trees and countless space in file drawers and closets while reducing the chances of identity theft.

Special acknowledgements to the SELCO team, CDI Vaults, and the Emerald Empire Young Marines for their participation in making these events a success! Watch for information on another ShredFest scheduled for Eugene on Saturday, September 6.
