 Each
year, SELCO Community Credit Union awards numerous scholarships to students from
among SELCO’s membership.
If you
are a high-school senior planning to attend
an accredited four-year institution of higher learning, it's time to apply for
a college scholarship from SELCO Community Credit Union.
 Full submission details are included
in the application, which you may download and then print below.
Eligibility
Requirements
This scholarship is intended for students continuing their education at a four-year
institution of higher learning.
To apply for a scholarship you must be...
1. A SELCO member or be an immediate family member of a SELCO member.
2. A graduating senior from a four-year accredited high school with a GPA
of at least 3.5.
How to Apply
1. Fill out Application Form below.
2. Write a 500-word essay describing your: plans after college, choice of major or area of study, and the contributions you plan to make to society after graduating.
3. Submit a statement of personal values.
4. Complete the Activity and Participation Summary on the reverse side.
5. Include three letters of recommendation.
6. Include your seventh-semester transcript.
7. Mail this application and materials to the address listed below. All applications
must be postmarked by April 14, 2008.

| Award Disbursement |
SELCO will award 16 $1,500 scholarships to the top applicants. Funds will be released to the students in advance of their first term of study to help them with expenses and tuition.

| Selection Process |
The SELCO Scholarship Committee
will review all applications. In the event of closely qualified applicants, the
committee may interview the finalists. SELCO’s Administration Executive
will notify scholarship winners by phone.
