Auto, Homeowners, and Business Insurance
Member Benefits Insurance is an independent multi-line agency. Insurance may be provided for autos, homes, renters, tenant occupied dwellings, boats, RVs, motorcycles, and businesses. For new policies, call Jack Tompkins at 744-7550.

Health Insurance
Member Benefits offers two types of health insurance: medicare supplements and individual policies. Each of the two types offers both major medical and HMO coverage. SELCO Insurance Services offers insurance from Blue Cross and Lifewise. For further information or an appointment, members should call 744-7550.

Life Insurance
Individual-term or whole-life insurance may also be purchased by calling 744-7550. Mortgage Insurance is also available at competitive rates.

Credit Union Group Insurance Products
AD&D: The company offering this product is Benefit Consultants, Inc. All SELCO members over the age of 18 are eligible to receive $1,500 of no-cost Accidental Death and Disability Insurance. This is not automatic; the member must fill out an application, sign it and list a beneficiary. In addition to the no-cost coverage, members may purchase additional amounts of individual or family coverage. The premiums for this coverage are deducted quarterly from the member's 01 account unless otherwise requested. These premiums are usually deducted sometime in the first five days of the quarter. This insurance also offers limited disability insurance.

Cancer Insurance & Other Supplemental Insurance Programs
SELCO members can now buy group cancer insurance through AFLAC. This insurance is available to members 18-69. Other programs such as Short-term Disability & Intensive Care Insurances are also available, on a group or individual basis. Premiums are deducted monthly from their 01 or 10 account. Please refer questions to our office.

Credit Life & Disability
This insurance is available on equity line of credit, Visa, and vehicle loans. The premium, based on the loan's balance, is deducted monthly and paid as part of the loan payment. The member may add the insurance at any time, but there is a six-month waiting period for disability claims and preexisting conditions. To add insurance to an existing loan contact your loan officer. The insurance is not available to members over the age of 70. To file a claim or for further information call 744-7550.

LifeHelp
LifeHelp is a term life insurance product offered by SELCO Insurance Services. All members and their spouses may receive $2,000-3,000 of basic coverage without filling out a health statement. For additional amounts, members must qualify through underwriting. Life Help is also the carrier for the life savings program. Mechanical Breakdown Insurance
This is extended warranty coverage available to purchasers of new or used vehicles. Members may sign up for this insurance through the phone branch (686-8000), or through any SELCO Financial Service Associate. For service related questions, call Judy McConnell at 744-7550.
