About Tim Kelley
Originally a teacher from Minnesota, Tim Kelley decided to move to Oregon in 1976 to pursue a new career in the insurance industry. He began as an agent for a large life insurance company but was drawn to the property and casualty portion of the business, so he decided to start his own insurance agency.

After fifteen years of growing his agency, Tim then started another insurance agency in a different city and sold it after 9 years. Tim was offered a position with SELCO Insurance Services (SIS) as a sales producer in March 2005 and was quickly promoted to the Manager of the SIS department.

Over the years, Tim has learned that the insurance business is about helping people secure their assets. Tim realizes the value of good insurance and knows first hand how it helps individuals, families and businesses from financial devastation. When talking with someone about insurance, Tim knows the conversation is about them and their insurance needs, and he truly cares what his clients have to say. Tim has made many good friends that began as insurance clients. Listening, helping, and coaching new clients are what makes Tim happy and keeps him successful in the insurance industry.
