SELCO Hires Mitch Friedman

September 17, 2018—SELCO Community Credit Union Welcomes Mitch Friedman as Information Technology Manager

(EUGENE, Ore.) — SELCO Community Credit Union recently hired Mitch Friedman as information technology manager. In this role, Friedman will manage the day-to-day operations of SELCO’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, process, and procedures. He will work from SELCO’s headquarters in Eugene, located at 1050 High St.

Friedman joins SELCO after honing his IT skills for more than 20 years in Orange County, California. Over the course of his career, he worked at multiple large organizations such as Ingram Micro, Ameriquest Mortgage, DISH Network, and First American Title. He brings a wealth of IT knowledge and expertise, leading multiple teams in systems, data centers, backups, desktop, disaster recovery, incident and change management, IT finance (budgets), and IT audit.

“We’re so glad to have Mitch on the team and look forward to utilizing his many relevant experiences in managing our IT team and organization,” said Kirk Letourneau, SELCO’s vice president of information services & technology.

Friedman earned a Bachelor of Science in Management from Pepperdine University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California. In his free time, he enjoys going out to dinner and concerts, watching sports, and playing fantasy football.
