SELCO Hires New Branch Manager

Press Release

Dec 9, 2016—SELCO Community Credit Union Welcomes New Burns Branch Manager

Matt Munoz brings wealth of banking experience to Burns; Meet and Greet event for SELCO members is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 17

(EUGENE, Ore.) — SELCO Community Credit Union has recently hired Matt Munoz to be the manager of its Burns branch. To commemorate Munoz’s hiring and to introduce him to the community, SELCO is hosting a Meet and Greet Event on Tuesday, Jan. 17, from 2-5 p.m. at the Burns Branch at 743 Hines Blvd.

Munoz comes to SELCO’s Burns Branch from Sacramento, California, where the 33-year-old was an assistant branch manager for Bank of America. He is a veteran of the banking industry, getting his start as a teller in 2006 at Bank of America in the Sacramento area.

“Having been in banking for more than 10 years, I am excited to be a part of both the SELCO family and the Burns community,” said Munoz. “I work with passion, take pride in what I do, and look forward to building relationships and improving our members’ financial and economic positions.”

Munoz, who grew up in the Sacramento area, said he was attracted to SELCO’s Burns Branch in part because of the community itself and the change of pace it offers. He relocated to Burns with his fiancé, Amber Tucker, and his dog, Cali. Munoz is also a frequent community service volunteer, and has already joined the Kiwanis Club of Burns-Hines.
