Press Release

June 29, 2017—SELCO Community Credit Union Promotes Carissa Lucas to Branch Manager of Its East Bend Branch

Lucas brings 10 years of experience to SELCO's Central Oregon branches in her new role

(BEND, Ore.) — SELCO Community Credit Union has recently promoted Carissa Lucas to branch manager for SELCO’s East Bend location. In this role, Lucas will oversee all day-to-day operations of the branch, located at 501 NE Bellevue Drive, and ensure that the branch meets all its quality service goals.

Lucas is a 10-year veteran of SELCO, beginning in 2007 as a teller in the East Side branch. Most recently, Lucas served as the assistant branch manager for SELCO’s Old Mill branch, where she oversaw general branch operations, including employee development and staff selection.

“Carissa has climbed up the ranks at SELCO, and accumulated a wealth of experience and expertise in all facets of our branch operations,” said Mike Stanley, Central Oregon area manager for SELCO Community Credit Union. “Carissa’s enthusiasm and knowledge will no doubt make her an excellent branch manager, and our East Bend branch members and employees will certainly be the main beneficiaries.”

Lucas grew up in Bend and is a graduate of Bend High School. In addition to her duties at SELCO, Lucas serves as the president of the Northwest Credit Union Association’s Central Oregon Chapter. She has passion for supporting her community and takes every opportunity to participate in SELCO-sponsored events.
